Smoking ceases to be „cool“, as it used to be, also because it is being linked to a number of health risks. Demonstrably, smoking causes lung cancer and other serious diseases. Tobacco-related illnesses are currently one of the most widespread death causes in Europe.
If you smoke, you not only systematically damage your own health, but also that of your beloved ones. People and animals in your vicinity are involuntarily becoming passive smokers. Passive smoking also contributes to a significant shortening of life expectancy. Stop smoking while you still have time to do so.
Do you know that:
- one waterpipe (shisha) session equals 30 cigarettes?
- each cigarette shortens your life by 5 minutes?
- by smoking, an average smoker shortens his life by 15 years?
- every second smoker dies of smoking-related diseases, half of them in middle age?
- in the Czech Republic, 60 people daily are dying on smoking-related diseases?
